This Year Shout
YES!
As you begin
2004, possibly
with high
expectations for
things to change
or be different,
I have a couple
of questions for
you to ponder.
Do you know more
about what you
don’t want in
your life than
what you do
want?
Do you spend
more of your
time shouting
NO, I don’t want
that?

Recommendation
The Four
Agreements by
Don Miguel Ruiz
1.
Be Impeccable
With Your Word
Speak with
integrity. Say
only what you
mean. Avoid
using the word
to speak against
yourself or
gossip to
others. Use the
power of your
word in the
direction of
truth and love.
2.
Don't Take
Anything
Personally
Nothing others
do is because of
you. What others
say and do is a
projection of
their own
reality, their
own dream. When
you are immune
to the opinions
and actions of
others, you
won't be the
victim of
needless
suffering.
3.
Don't Make
Assumptions
Find the courage
to ask questions
and to express
what you really
want.
Communicate with
others as
clearly as you
can to avoid
misunderstandings,
sadness, and
drama. With just
this on
agreement,
you can
completely
transform your
life.
4.
Always Do Your
Best
Your best is
going to change
from moment to
moment; it will
be different
when you are
healthy as
opposed to sick.
Under any
circumstance,
simply do your
best and you
will avoid
self-judgment,
self-abuse and
regret.
Self Love
Human beings
crave love and
affection. We
like to be
acknowledged and
appreciated.
What would
happen if you
decided to treat
yourself the way
you want others
to treat you?
Self love is
about honoring
and appreciating
who you are and
what you have to
offer that is
unique and
special. Self
love is about
making yourself
a priority in
your life. Self
love is
about treating
yourself well.
Are you the
number one
person in your
life or are you
well down the
list after the
kids, spouse,
family?

Know Your Love
Style
In the last
newsletter we
discussed Self
Love. In this
issue we are
going to explore
different Love
Styles to help
you identify
what you need in
order to feel
loved and to
identify what
those around you
need in order to
feel loved. This
information was
adapted from
Anthony Robbins
Unlimited Power,
http://www.anthonyrobbinsdc.com
and Gary
Chapman's The
Five Love
Languages,
http://www.fivelovelanguages.com.
Everyone has
their own unique
way of feeling
loved. For some
it is hearing
the words "I
love you". For
others receiving
a gift of
flowers does the
trick. Some
people
appreciate an
act of kindness
such as having
their car washed
and others just
need a hug to
feel loved and
appreciated.

Manifesting
101
Loving
What You
Have
Opens
The Door
For More
The
first
step in
opening
the door
to
having
more
things
in your
life
that you
love is
to look
around
and
notice
all the
items
that you
have
manifested
into
your
life
that you
love.

Turning
Fear
Into
Excitement
Life
begins
at the
edge of
your
comfort
zone.
From my
perspective
there
are two
kinds of
fear. We
experience
the
first
kind of
fear
when
someone
pulls
out in
front of
us on
the
highway
and we
jam on
the
brakes
because
we
perceive
that our
lives
are in
danger.
This
kind of
fear
kicks in
a fight
or
flight
adrenaline
rush.

PUT
THE
GLASS
DOWN
A
lecturer
was
giving a
lecture
to his
students
on
stress
management.
He
raised a
glass of
water
and
asked
the
audience,
"How
heavy do
you
think
this
glass of
water
is?"
The
students'
answers
ranged
from 20g
to
500gm.
"It does
not
matter
on the
absolute
weight.
It
depends
on how
long you
hold it.
If I
hold it
for a
minute,
it is
OK.
If I
hold it
for an
hour, I
will
have an
ache in
my right
arm. If
I hold
it for a
day, you
will
have to
call an
ambulance.
It is
the
exact
same
weight,
but the
longer I
hold it,
the
heavier
it
becomes."
"If we
carry
our
burdens
all the
time,
sooner
or
later,
we will
not be
able to
carry
on, the
burden
becoming
increasingly
heavier."
"What
you have
to do is
to put
the
glass
down,
rest for
a while
before
holding
it up
again."
We have
to put
down the
burden
periodically,
so that
we can
be
refreshed
and are
able to
carry
on.

Action
Challenge
At the
end of
your
work
day,
leave
your
challenges
at the
office.
Don't
carry
them
home.
You can
pick
them up
tomorrow.
Have
issues
with
your
family,
spouse,
children,
let them
go for a
while.
Whatever
burdens
you are
having
now on
your
shoulders,
put them
down for
a
moment
if you
can.
Feel the
relief.
Pick
them up
again
later
when you
have
rested....if
you
want.
Toleration
Free
We are
all
tolerating
people
and
situations
that
drain
our
energy,
drag us
down and
make our
lives
less
than
ideal.
These
can be
major
situations
like a
job you
dislike,
a home
that
doesn’t
meet
your
needs or
a
difficult
relationship,
but it
is also
minor
irritations
like the
dripping
faucet,
a drawer
that
needs
de-cluttered,
a call
that
needs to
be
returned
or
clothes
that
don’t
fit.

Comparing
Yourself
To
Others
Do you
find
yourself
comparing
yourself
to
others
on a
regular
basis?
Do you
notice
who has
a better
house,
better
job,
better
relationship
or a
better
car?
How does
it make
you feel
to
notice
what
others
have? Do
you find
yourself
inspired
to have
what
they
have or
do you
find
yourself
feeling
frustrated
and
angry
that
others
appear
to have
it
better
than
you?

When I work with clients, they have an ultimate goal they are expecting to achieve. With weight loss, they typically have an ultimate goal of how many pounds they want to weigh. With money issues, the ultimate goal may be acquiring a higher paying job.
The ultimate goal is something that is not usually reachable overnight, so people often get discouraged and give up before they reach their ultimate goal. One way to prevent this from happening to you is to create Success Points along the way to your ultimate goal. Read more.I Always...
How often do you use the phrases "I don't have enough money", "I don't have enough time" or "things never go my way"? How often do you hear others use them?
Your body and your mind are always listening to what you are affirming on a regular basis and assist you in attracting situations that are in alignment with what you affirm. Read more.
